From high performance sports cars to heavy-duty trucks, today's higher horsepower engines can really heat up. Nothing handles that horsepower like Victor Reinz® gaskets. Working closely with vehicle manufacturers worldwide, we provide solutions to engineering problems by using the most advanced design, testing and material development capabilities.

The same application engineering that is the standard of excellence in the light vehicle side; also is the key to success in performance applications. Higher performing engines equal a harsher environment for gaskets; therefore different materials are required to provide the optimum seal:

Nitroseal® - A Graphite facing material that is clinched to a perforated steel core, this offers superior heat resistance of up to 1,800°F while also maintaining excellent conformability. Found in head gasket, intake gasket and exhaust manifold applications, it can take the heat of a high performing engine.

Solicor™ - A sturdy facing material that is bonded to a solid steel core and includes a Teflon® coating, Solicor also includes a pre-flattened wire fire ring and has a stainless steel flange, allowing the gasket to handle high cylinder pressures found in performance engines.

Performaseal™ - A perforated steel core gasket with a facing material both chemically and mechanically secured, it offers far improved torque retention and increased radial load capacity. It’s found in timing cover and water pump applications where the competition only offers paper.

Tuff-Cork™ - Cork-rubber bonded to a steel core can withstand temperatures up to 275° F, Tuff-Cork also features HTC that can withstand temperatures up to 400° F.

Victo-Stack® - New modular head gasket technology is making it easier and less expensive for owners of Honda Civic and Del Sol models with 1.5L, 1.6L or 1.6L V-TEC engines to meet compression ratio rules applicable to track competition. Victor Reinz, the gaskets chosen for NASCAR Performance, has developed an advanced multi-layer steel (MLS) gasket design that is featured in the Victor Reinz® Victo-Stack® Head Gasket Kit. The modular six-piece kit provides you with the ability to precisely raise or lower the engine's static compression ratio by accurately adjusting the height of the cylinder head. Raising or lowering the cylinder head to the desired height is accomplished by using different combinations of the Victo-Stack components. The kit includes two outside stamped bead gasket layers, an elastomeric bead inner layer, and three spacers (.50 mm, .75 mm and 1.00 mm).

No special tools are needed to install the modular Victo-Stack head gasket components. What's more, you can configure the gasket in less than five minutes for installation onto the engine block. You simply align the assembly with its mating coolant and bolt holes, and then install the gasket with the four retainer pins and push nuts that are provided with the kit.

With the advent of Victor Reinz's modular metric-sized components, thickness is no longer an issue. Neither is cost, because Victo-Stack is an off-the-shelf item. Compared to custom-manufactured head gaskets, you can save as much as 50 percent with the Victo-Stack kit.
